Devoa is a Japanese label by designer Daisuke Nishida a former athelete and medical instructor. His collections are concerned with the evolution of the human body, DNA and an understanding of the skeletal and muscular structures that enable human movement. Through the use of innovative fabrics with an emphasis on selecting the best fabric mills garments evolve organically from the individual properties of the materials. By avoiding mass production techniques the label regularly produces limited edition lines from rare, one-off fabrics.
