Another St Martins School of Art success story, Neil Barrett was born to a tailoring family in Devon, England. After graduation the menswear designer was snapped up by Gucci in Italy before he took it upon himself to approach Miuccia Prada and persuade her to let him launch a Prada menswear line. He launched menswear label in 1999, followed by womenswear a few years later. His look is smart and understated, fusing traditional English tailoring with sharp Italian lines.
