The Exquisite J line of accessories was formed in 1992, emerging from the meeting between Giancarlo Ferrari, an artist at the Academy of Fine Arts, and Francesco Bonamano an young architect. At the beginning the line was inspired to recycle "junk" materials in forms such as fanciful jewellery and little purses. Nowadays the line reinterprets the spirit of pop art of the sixties and seventies with an ironic and irreverent slant. The designers spend a lot of time designing their collection and occasionally they work with other companies, such as REPLAY Jeans.
