Enrico Coveri first showed at Milan Fashion Week in 1973 moving to Paris to present his first womenswear collection in 1977 with his menswear collection following shortly after. Known for his use of bright colours, fantastical prints and bold embellishments, Coveri was described by newspaper Le Figaro as “Sequins are to Coveri what chains are to Chanel.” Enrico Coveri died in 1990 at just 38 years old and his sister Silvana succeeds him in the company.
