Harry Barfard and Polly Wilkinson of Draw In Light, and the duo in silk screen action
Harry Barford and Polly Wilkinson of London label Draw In Light may be based in London’s artfully (and consciously) dingy East End, but it’s the lightness, and celestial quality of their pieces that’s currently winning them fans in the fashion industry.

And not just any old fans either, iconic department store Liberty was so taken with their rainbow streaked designs that they not only started stocking the label, they enlisted the duo as guest editors on their website last December.
We’re not surprised, their free-hand silk screened
dresses and tops have an ethereal, other-worldliness that is certainly intriguing.
The duo behind Draw In Light
Barford and Wilkinson met in 1985 in a hospital in West London (they were babies, in case that’s not already obvious). A long and close friendship ensued, and in 2009 they teamed up to create Draw In Light, with its signature raw-edged, soft-hued, goddess like aesthetic. And because of the production technique, each garment is different, an individual - and who can resist something that’s beautiful and one of a kind?
