The Farfetch team are leaders in the field when it comes to finding the best boutiques and, luckily, we’ve persuaded them to share their shopping secrets. Art Director Peter Stitson loves the art gallery style of store Andreas Murkudis, located in Berlin’s former Tagesspiegel newspaper building.

‘Andreas Murkudis boasts a well curated selection of high quality contemporary items housed in a concept space more reminiscent of an art gallery than your normal designer store.’
‘There is wide range of contemporary fashion and carefully curated pieces ranging across home, furniture and accessories. Many pieces are kept in the store indefinitely because Andreas likes them simply as beautiful objects.’
‘The area has a great history. David Bowie created his Berlin trilogy here in the seventies with Iggy Pop and Brian Eno. Other famous Schöneberg residents include Marlene Dietrich, Albert Einstein, Helmut Newton and Klaus Kinski. The area has experienced a real push in popularity, with many galleries formerly located around Heidestraße, having moved here.’
‘I love the fashion from Margiela, Jil Sander and Balenciaga, but also the leather goods of Isaac Reina. All the items seem to have a keen eye for the modern whilst retaining a timeless aesthetic.’
