Originally named ERTÈ, the Etré store on Marconi’s Square was an immediate hit. Bruna, the store’s founder, was the first to buy Romeo Gigli – which goes to show that Etré offers items that have the capability to preserve their relevance with the passing of time. As its success grew, Bruna decided to open Vestire in a space on the Via Corridoni, in a historic building from the second half of the 15th century. Firstly an extension of Etré, it rapidly forged its own individuality. Societe Anonyme is a conceptual boutique where the worlds of art, fashion, music and design collide. Born in 1988, the boutique started out as a workshop-come-store for owner Massimiliano Gianelli to vent his creativity. Influenced by his travels to New York and European cities, Societe Anonyme evolved into an experimental haven, reflecting a bohemian attitude and playing host to a unique collection of labels with a preference towards Japanese, Swedish and Belgian designers. Roberto Tassinari opened Tassinari shoes in 1986 after the success of a clothing boutique. Originally a menswear boutique, he started to sell shoes to complete the look of his clients outfits, then later selling shoes for women. Now Tassinari is a luxury shoe boutique housing shoes to meet all different personalities, male and female. The store’s architecture was one of the first in the city of Bologna to have a minimal design with concrete details and wood panels, set in the bohemian area. The space is divided into two ‘mirror’ lounges, one for ladies and men.
